🎙️ Future Voices: Podcasting in the AI Era 🎙️

The Department of Media and Communication Studies, University of Sialkot, under the supervision of Dr. Rooma Shahzadi, Head, Department of Media and Communication Studies, and with the valuable support of Faculty Members Dr. Mir Ahmad Feroz, Ms. Noma Nadeem, and Mr. Hafiz Muhammad Humza, organized a university-level Training Workshop on “Future Voices: Podcasting in the AI Era”, followed by Podcast Host Auditions for aspiring student hosts.

The session was conducted by Dr. Hina Adeeb, Incharge UCP FM Radio 92.6, Lahore, who shared valuable insights into podcast production, hosting techniques, communication skills, content development, voice modulation, and the effective use of AI tools in modern media.

Students enthusiastically participated in the workshop and auditions, demonstrating their creativity, confidence, and communication abilities. The event provided an excellent platform for students to enhance their professional media skills and explore emerging opportunities in digital content creation.

A Shield of Appreciation was presented to Dr. Hina Adeeb in recognition of her valuable contribution and for sharing her expertise with students and faculty members.

The Worthy Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Meritorious) Dr. Muhammad Khaleeq-ur-Rahman, University of Sialkot, commended the department for organizing this impactful initiative aimed at nurturing future media professionals.

The Final Project, Internship & Thesis Viva Voce of BS Batch Fall 2022 was successfully conducted, featuring impressive short films, documentaries highlighting social, development, and psychological issues, and research on Digital Media. Students presented their work confidently and received valuable appreciation, recommendations, and feedback.

The projects and theses were completed under the dedicated supervision of Dr. Rooma Shahzadi, Dr. Mir Ahmad Feroz, Ms. Noma Nadeem, and Mr. Hafiz Muhammad Humza.

The external evaluation was conducted by Dr. Hina Adeeb, Assistant Professor, University of Central Punjab, Lahore, whose valuable remarks and recommendations were highly appreciated.

In her concluding remarks, Dr. Rooma Shahzadi, Head of the Department of Media & Communication Studies, appreciated the supervisors’ efforts, congratulated the graduating students, and wished them great success in their future endeavors.
