Online International Guest Speaker Session on “How to Use AI to Become an Effective Extensive Reader”
Sukkur IBA University organized an engaging online guest session for the students of BS Computer Science (BS-I) on the topic “How to Use AI to Become an Effective Extensive Reader.”
The session was organized by Dr. Zulfiqar Ali Chachar, Assistant Professor of English, and featured Dr. Rob Waring, a renowned international scholar and expert in Extensive Reading and Vocabulary Acquisition and Emeritus Professor at Notre Dame Seishin University, Japan.
Dr. Waring shared valuable insights into the effective use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for developing extensive reading skills, highlighting practical ways students can integrate AI tools into their language-learning practices.
The session was keenly attended by the students, who actively engaged with the discussion and benefited from Dr. Waring’s expertise and experience.
The program was also graciously attended by Prof. Dr. Syed Mir Muhammad Shah, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Sukkur IBA University, along with faculty members from the Department of English, whose presence added significance to the academic event.
