IBISurvey: Exotic Birds in Europe

IBISurvey: Exotic Birds in Europe IBISurvey is a Citizen Science project of the University of Évora (Portugal). Participate! https://ibisurvey.uevora.pt

Its main objective is to assess the environmental, societal and economic impacts of introduced birds in European countries. We encourage observers to report interactions between introduced birds and other animals, plants and humans. Your involvement is essential for helping us to identify which introduced bird species are becoming invasive and to improve our assessment of their environmental, soci

etal and economic impacts. Team:

IBISurvey update!

We’ve now reached more than 1,000 participants — thank you to everyone contributing observations!

Italy remains in first place for submissions, and the United Kingdom is getting very close to Spain.

Psittacula krameri continues to dominate the records, but Alopochen aegyptiaca and Threskiornis aethiopicus are showing a noticeable rise in observations.

Help us keep growing the project by recording exotic birds interacting with the environment. Every contribution makes a difference!
