Desde jogos tradicionais 🎲 a workshops sobre mobilidade, inclusão e diversidade 💡, a experiência foi marcada pela ligação, partilha e crescimento

A recap of the Open Staff Week 2026 at 🇵🇹

Last week, from May 4–8, we welcomed 32 participants from 12 different countries: 🇷🇴 Romania, 🇬🇷 Greece, 🇪🇸 Spain, 🇩🇪 Germany, 🇱🇻 Latvia, 🇮🇹 Italy, 🇭🇷 Croatia, 🇹🇷 Turkey, 🇵🇱 Poland, 🇨🇿 Czech Republic, 🇹🇳 Tunisia, 🇪🇪 Estonia.
�This initiative focused on the development and management of EU-funded projects, covering key topics such as Project Cycle Management, financial rules, risk management, and reporting.
�Participants took part in interactive sessions and workshops, fostering knowledge exchange, collaboration, and international networking.��A sincere thank you to everyone who participated—for your ideas, energy, time, and great spirit. It truly made this edition a success.��See you next time! 🌍

A vida académica por vezes pode ser uma loucura… aulas, prazos, ansiedade, incertezas, sempre em movimento. Mas também deve existir tempo para parar, respirar fundo, reconnectar e ganhar forças para recomeçar.

É por isso que o SPES organiza novamente uma caminhada até Fátima, aberta a todos os estudantes nacionais e internacionais, professores e colaboradores do IPLeiria.

Esta peregrinação é um convite a conhecer uma parte importante da cultura portuguesa, conectar-se com a natureza, partilhar conversas, refletir sobre a vida e desacelerar da rotina do dia a dia.

E se és estudante FINALISTA, internacional ou não, este convite é ainda mais especial para ti — como uma forma de agradecer o tempo vivido em Portugal e na academia de Leiria, olhar para o caminho percorrido e pensar no futuro que agora começa a aproximar-se.

That’s why SPES is once again organising a walk to Fátima, open to all national and international students, teachers, and staff from IPLeiria.

This pilgrimage is an invitation to experience an important part of Portuguese culture, connect with nature, share conversations, reflect on life, and slow down from the routines of everyday life.

And if you are a FINAL YEAR student — international or not — this invitation is even more special for you, as a way to appreciate the time lived in Portugal and at the Leiria academy, look back at your journey, and think about the future that is now beginning to approach.
