🕵️ SCAVENGER HUNT INCOMING | KreativEU Hackathon 2026

Think a Hackathon is only about coding? Think again.

At KreativEU Hackathon: “Inherit the Past. Code the Future.” (📍Svishtov | 📅 26–28 May 2026), teams from across Europe will race through the city, solving clues, discovering hidden heritage sites, taking team photos, scanning QR codes, and unlocking the next challenge.

But this is more than a game.
Students will not simply visit Svishtov — they will explore it, decode it, and experience it. The stories and places they discover will inspire the ideas behind the core Hackathon challenges they will solve.

Because before coding the future, they first need to inherit the past.

The KreativEU Alliance held a transnational meeting between 5 and 9 May 2026 in Adana, Türkiye.

The gathering brought together representatives from all 11 partner institutions, namely the Rectors and Presidents of our Consortium. The programme included ordinary meetings of the General Assembly, the Managing Board and the Steering Committee, as well as strategic meetings and cooperation activities focused on cultural heritage and regional development.

The Spring Open Science School 🌼🔬 has successfully come to a close!

From April 20 to 24, the intensive training programme, also held in person at the University of Camerino, brought together participants from across Europe for a week of learning, exchange, and collaboration.

🌐 Organised within the KreativEU European University Alliance, the programme explored a wide range of key topics: from the foundations of Open Science to Open Access, Open Data, Open Educational Resources, and Citizen Science.

📌 A dynamic and inspiring week, enriched by the contribution of leading national and international experts, who shared diverse perspectives, best practices, and real-world experiences.

On 21 April, at Opole University of Technology, the long-awaited event took place – the Researchers’ Fair “Incubating Kreative Partnerships”! 🔬✨

The hybrid fair became an excellent platform for meetings, exchanging experiences, and establishing new collaborations – both scientific and project-based, including at the international level. 🤝🌍

It is part of an intensive week full of major academic events that has been underway since the previous day, including the annual Erasmus Partnership Conference. Its participants also joined the fair, giving it an even more international character 🎓
