Stockholms universitets studentkår We respresent students at Stockholm University. Together, we improve your university experience.

Stockholm University Student Union (SUS) is one of the largest student organisations in Sweden, it was founded already in 1883. The student union has around fifteen employees and almost twenty co-workers working in our staff. We are actively supporting and spreading issues regarding the everyday life of undergraduate, graduate and PhD-students. Through information, networking and lobbying towards

members of the university, Stockholm City Council och regional politicians we constantly encourage the inclusion of a student perspective when important decisions are made. In addition we continuously strive to widen the personal service and benefits offered to our union members. Stockholm University Student Union is also a meeting point for informal educational activities, different interests and cultural events and initiatives. Our organization includes more than forty student associations and clubs. These are supported through SUS by funds and general services to ensure a flourishing student life on and around Stockholm University.

LIVING AND STUDYING IN STOCKHOLM SHOULDN’T BE A LUXURY!

Today, SUS is launching a public campaign about the student housing crisis in Stockholm.
Through students’ own stories and experiences, collected during the spring semester of 2026, we want to show the reality behind the statistics, what the housing crisis actually means for students trying to live and study in Stockholm, and demand that our politicians take action for better student housing.
