SIT Project Cambodia - YEP Project Cambodia is an annual student-led service learning initiative to reach out to the less fortu

Every year, Project Cambodia (PC) works with our partner Project Khmer H.O.P.E (PKH) to improve the livelihoods of the Cambodians living in the Trang village. PC 2K17 is third year in running and our upcoming service learning trip at PKH Trang will be from 18th Dec'17 to 31st Dec'17. Last year, we raised funds between May to Dec 2016 and this sum was donated to PKH for two projects which we initia

ted. The first project was the renovation and expansion of the kitchen area. New equipments were added with the aim to help and aid the staff in their cooking process for over 350 students daily. The second project was the building of fencing around the entire border of the Centre. This helps to make the Centre a safer environment for the students and prevent cows from coming in to damage their agricultural crops. This year, we are raising funds to build a new classroom to accommodate for the increasing number of students. New classroom equipment such as tables, chairs and board will allow students to have a conducive learning environment. Thank you for supporting Project Cambodia 2019/2020. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 situation, our team is unable to complete our YEP Project in Cambodia this year.
The team has decided to continue a local service-learning project that will be carried out after more confirmation is given from SIT and YEP respectively. Amidst the unfortunate news, our team is determined to end the year's project on a good note.

We would like to thank everyone who supported Project Cambodia in all our fundraising efforts this year.
Thank you so much. The funds raised will be kept for the next Project Cambodia batch.
