Over five days, hundreds of students showcased innovation, teamwork, and brilliant problem-solving. Assistant Professor Dr. Ronald Koh and Lecturer Ms. Rosa Anajao from the Mathematics and Physics Department were on the judging panel and witnessed firsthand what young minds can achieve when curiosity meets challenge. We were honored to welcome Vice President Liu Jihong and her delegation from Jiangsu Second Normal University to our campus at SIT Punggol yesterday.

During the visit, we exchanged perspectives on Singapore's education system, DigiPen (Singapore)'s unique partnership with the Singapore Institute of Technology, and our industry-focused, project-driven academic programs. It was a valuable exchange of ideas on education innovation, and we look forward to continued future collaborations together.

PRISM (Police Response & Incident Simulation Module) is a police driving simulator developed during the HackX Hackathon, in collaboration with HTX (Home Team Science and Technology Agency) and Microsoft. The project was developed by a five‑member student team, including DigiPen (Singapore) students Wei Hao Sun and Yee Lei Low from the BSCS in Real‑Time Interactive Simulation (RTIS) program.

PRISM was designed to support safer, smarter driving simulation through realistic vehicle physics, AI‑driven traffic and pedestrians, and dynamic scenarios — allowing trainees to practice responding to sudden crossings, road hazards, and high‑speed pursuits.

Built using Unity, Wei Hao worked on core systems such as AI traffic, vehicle behaviour, and dynamic events, while Yee Lei implemented steering wheel integration and dynamic weather. It's great to see our students applying their technical skills beyond the classroom to develop practical systems for real‑world applications. Nice work! 👏💻🚔

Year 4 students from our SIT-DigiPen (Singapore) BEng in Mechatronics recently showcased their Capstone projects to invited industry partners at the SIT Punggol Campus. Over eight months, these 17 teams of about four students each have taken on actual industry problems defined by companies such as JTC, A*STAR I2R, National Library Board, and KK Women's and Children's Hospital, among others. It was heartening to see the positive industry feedback during the event. 🚀💯✨

We thank all industry partners for their continued support. To all our students — we are immensely proud of you! 👏😊🌟
