NUS Dentistry is proud to have partnered with Dyson in enabling the design of a proxy plaque developed by Dyson, which was used to evaluate the performance of different jet designs. This collaboration aided in the development of the Dyson CameraJet™, bringing together dental expertise and engineering innovation.
The funded collaboration allowed Dyson engineers to evaluate and refine different fluid-jet designs in a controlled laboratory setting, contributing to the testing of the CameraJet™’s conical jet. Such partnerships highlight the value of synthesising dental expertise with engineering, imaging, AI, and fluid dynamics to address real-world challenges in oral healthcare.
We're delighted to have contributed to this journey and look forward to exploring new possibilities at the intersection of dental science, technology, and innovation ✨.
