CoS welcomed its newest batch of PG students last week during the CoS PGR Orientation 2026!

The event kicked off with an opening address by Assoc Prof Guillaume Thibault, who is the Assoc Dean (Graduate Studies) at CoS, followed by an insightful session on NTU's Joint PhD programmes by Prof Victoria Leong, Assoc Dean (Outreach & Partnerships), from NTU Graduate College. The students also heard from School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences PhD candidate Adarsh, who shared about his Joint PhD experience with Université Paris Sciences et Lettres.

We look forward to the incredible work that our new PG cohort will achieve!

Project Sci-nergise hosted its annual Campus Science Trail (CST) 2026 at NTU for students from Bukit View and Hillgrove Secondary Schools. The two-day immersive event introduced university life through hands-on laboratory activities with ASE, SBS, CCEB and the Traditional Chinese Medicine Clinic.

Participants got to explore TCM herbs and specimens, conduct recrystallisation experiments, extract DNA from bananas, and carried out water pH testing and rock identification.

Once again, Project Sci-nergise's CST continues to spark scientific curiousity in its young student participants and gives them a glimpse at what else awaits them in university.
