UNESCO has distributed over 42,000 books to higher education institutions across South Sudan. 📚

Last week, 2,500 academic books and an offline digital library were handed over to Dr. John Garang Memorial University of Science and Technology in Bor, Jonglei State.

This effort is part of UNESCO’s broader support to higher education in South Sudan and helping to expand access to quality learning materials for students and institutions across the country.

The Vice Chancellor of Dr John Garang Memorial University of Science and Technology, Professor Dr Abraham Matoc Dhal was grateful and appreciative of the donation.

Wonderful event marking the distribution of rice seed to the community and donations of Agricultural tools and equipment to the University of Dr, JG MUST in Bor.
Thanks to the Korean Contingent of UNMISS in Bor. These equipments will be used to boost rice production and other crops in the University in order to fight hunger and become self reliance.
