📍Preparatory Meeting for Royal Merit-Making Ceremony in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit

🗓️On May 19, 2026, at 1:00 p.m., the central administration of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University convened a preparatory meeting at the Faculty of Education Meeting Room in advance of the royal merit-making ceremony dedicated to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

📝The meeting was presided over by Most Ven. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phra Thepvajarasarabundit, Vice Rector for Planning and Development, provided guidance on operational planning and coordination to ensure the ceremony would be conducted with propriety and dignity.

📝On this occasion, Dr. Phramaha Somchai Kittipanyo, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities, also attended the meeting.

📍MCU Organizes AUN-QA Assessor Training Program (Batch 3)

🗓️On May 6, 2026, the Quality Assurance Office of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU) organized the AUN-QA (Version 4.0) Assessor Training Program (Batch 3), held from May 6–8, 2026, at Sammapanya Meeting Room, Brahmabandit Building, International Buddhist Studies College, MCU, Ayutthaya. The opening ceremony was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phrapanyavajrapandit, Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, also delivered an opening address.

📝The program aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and international quality assurance standards, focusing on the alignment of learning outcomes, curriculum design, and teaching methodologies to improve graduate quality. A total of 36 administrators and lecturers participated in the training, with experts serving as keynote speakers and facilitators.

📝On this occasion, Dr. Phramaha Somchai Kittipanyo, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities, also participated in the program.

🗓️วันที่ 6 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2569 สำนักงานประกันคุณภาพ มหาวิทยาลัยมหาจุฬาลงกรณราชวิทยาลัย (มจร) จัดโครงการอบรมผู้ตรวจประเมินคุณภาพการศึกษา ระดับหลักสูตร ตามเกณฑ์ AUN-QA (Version 4.0) รุ่นที่ 3 ระหว่างวันที่ 6–8 พฤษภาคม 2569 ณ ห้องประชุมสัมมาปัญญา อาคารพระพรหมบัณฑิต วิทยาลัยพุทธศาสตร์นานาชาติ มจร จังหวัดพระนครศรีอยุธยา โดยมี พระปัญญาวัชรบัณฑิต, รศ.ดร. รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวิชาการ เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิดและให้โอวาทแก่ผู้เข้าร่วมอบรม

📝การอบรมมุ่งเน้นการพัฒนาผู้ประเมินให้มีความรู้ความเข้าใจในแนวคิดการจัดการศึกษาแบบมุ่งเน้นผลลัพธ์ (Outcome-Based Education: OBE) และการประกันคุณภาพตามมาตรฐานสากล โดยเน้นความสอดคล้องของผลลัพธ์การเรียนรู้ โครงสร้างหลักสูตร และกระบวนการจัดการเรียนการสอน เพื่อยกระดับคุณภาพบัณฑิตให้ตอบสนองต่อความต้องการของสังคมและตลาดแรงงาน ทั้งนี้ มีผู้บริหารและคณาจารย์เข้าร่วมอบรมจำนวน 36 รูป/คน โดยได้รับเกียรติจากผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านการประกันคุณภาพเป็นวิทยากรหลักและคณะผู้ช่วยวิทยากร ร่วมถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์เชิงปฏิบัติ

📍Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University Convenes Official MOU Implementation Meeting with the Lao PDR Social Welfare Fund

🗓️The Meeting on the Implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University and the Social Welfare Fund of the National Assembly of the Lao PDR was held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the 48th Anniversary Building, MCU, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Thailand. In the morning session, at 08:30 a.m., the Lao delegation arrived at the university and was formally welcomed by the university executives. Monk students from the Lao PDR and lay students presented garlands as a gesture of respect and hospitality.

📝The delegation then proceeded to the auditorium to pay homage to the replica of Phra Phutthasothon, followed by a group photograph and a Thai traditional dance performance before entering the meeting room. On this occasion, Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector, presided over the ceremony, lit incense and candles, and delivered the opening remarks. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suraphon Suyaphrom, Vice Rector for General Affairs, delivered the welcome address. Souvenirs were presented to the Lao delegation, and Dr. Viphavanh Phomvihane delivered a response expressing appreciation. Subsequently, Ven. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phra Thepvajarasarabundit, Vice Rector for Planning and Development, conducted the meeting in accordance with the agenda and delivered the closing remarks, followed by a group photograph.

📝In this regard, Dr. Phramaha Somchai Kittipanyo, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities, served as the English Master of Ceremony, facilitating the proceedings throughout the official session.

📍Merit-Making Ceremony on the Auspicious Occasion Held at MCU

🗓️On Saturday, May 2, 2026, a merit-making ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Prof. (Special) Chamnong Thongprasert, a member of the Royal Society of Thailand, was held at the front area of the Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya Hall, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.
On this occasion, Most Ven. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Phra Thepvajarasarabundit, Vice Rector for Planning and Development, presided over the ceremony, attended by university executives, lecturers, and staff. Dr. Phramaha Somchai Kittipanyo, Head of the Department of Foreign Languages, served as the master of ceremonies.

📝The ceremony included paying homage to the Triple Gem, offering alms and requisites to the Sangha, and receiving blessings. A total of 118 monks participated in chanting and alms reception. The event was conducted in a solemn and orderly manner.

ในการนี้ พระเทพวัชรสารบัณฑิต, รศ.ดร. รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายวางแผนและพัฒนา เป็นประธานในพิธี พร้อมด้วยผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และเจ้าหน้าที่ของมหาวิทยาลัยเข้าร่วมโดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน

📍MCU Foreign Languages Department Conducts Quota Admission Examination for Academic Year 2026

🗓️The Department of Foreign Languages, Faculty of Humanities, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, led by Dr. Phramaha Somchai Kittipanyo, Head of the Department, together with lecturers and staff, conducted the admission examination for undergraduate students in the Bachelor of Arts Program in English for the Academic Year 2026
(Quota Round 2).

📝The examination was organized into two rooms. In Room 1, 20 candidates attended the examination, all of whom passed, with 11 absentees. In Room 2, 26 candidates attended, with 25 successfully passing and 9 absent. In total, 46 candidates attended the examination, 45 passed, and 20 were absent. The examination process was carried out efficiently and transparently, reflecting the department’s commitment to academic quality and the development of English language education at the higher education level.

กิตฺติปญฺโญ, ดร. หัวหน้าภาควิชาภาษาต่างประเทศ พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์และเจ้าหน้าที่ ได้ดำเนินการสอบคัดเลือกนิสิตเข้าศึกษาต่อระดับปริญญาตรี หลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ ประจำปีการศึกษา 2569 รอบที่ 2 (Quota)

📝ผลการสอบคัดเลือกแบ่งเป็น 2 ห้องสอบ โดยห้องที่ 1 มีผู้เข้าสอบ 20 รูป/คน ผ่านการคัดเลือก 20 รูป/คน และขาดสอบ 11 รูป/คน ขณะที่ห้องที่ 2 มีผู้เข้าสอบ 26 รูป/คน ผ่านการคัดเลือก 25 รูป/คน และขาดสอบ 9 รูป/คน รวมทั้งสิ้นมีผู้เข้าสอบ 46 รูป/คน ผ่านการคัดเลือก 45 รูป/คน และขาดสอบ 20 รูป/คน
การดำเนินการดังกล่าวเป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อยและโปร่งใส สะท้อนถึงความพร้อมของภาควิชาในการพัฒนากำลังคน
