คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา สืบสานประเพณีสงกรานต์วิถีไทย ควบคู่แนวคิดรักษ์โลก มุ่งสู่ Green University อย่างยั่งยืน
เมื่อวันที่ 9 เมษายน 2569 คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา จัดโครงการ “สงกรานต์วิถีไทย ใส่ใจรักษ์โลก สืบสานวัฒนธรรม สู่ Green University ประจำปี 2569” เพื่อส่งเสริมและสืบสานประเพณีสงกรานต์อันเป็นมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมของไทย ควบคู่กับการปลูกจิตสำนึกด้านการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม และสนับสนุนนโยบายการพัฒนามหาวิทยาลัยสู่การเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียว (Green University) อย่างยั่งยืน
การจัดโครงการดังกล่าวมุ่งเน้นการสร้างคุณค่าเชิงวัฒนธรรมและสังคม โดยภายในงานมีกิจกรรมรดน้ำดำหัวคณาจารย์ผู้ใหญ่ เพื่อแสดงความเคารพ ความกตัญญูกตเวที และขอพรเนื่องในโอกาสวันขึ้นปีใหม่ไทย อันเป็นการเสริมสร้างขวัญกำลังใจและความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และนิสิตของคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์
จุดเด่นสำคัญของโครงการ คือการบูรณาการแนวคิดด้านการอนุรักษ์สิ่งแวดล้อม ภายใต้แนวคิด “ใช้น้ำอย่างรู้คุณค่า ใส่ใจโลก” โดยใช้น้ำในพิธีรดน้ำดำหัวผ่านภาชนะรองรับเป็นต้นไม้ และนำน้ำดังกล่าวกลับไปใช้รดต้นไม้ใหญ่ภายในคณะ สะท้อนถึงการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างคุ้มค่าและเกิดประโยชน์สูงสุด เปรียบเสมือนการส่งต่อพร ความเป็นสิริมงคล และความเขียวขจี สู่การเติบโตอย่างสมดุลของชุมชนมหาวิทยาลัย
โครงการนี้ไม่เพียงเป็นการอนุรักษ์และสืบสานวัฒนธรรมไทยเท่านั้น หากยังเป็นพื้นที่แห่งการเรียนรู้และการลงมือปฏิบัติจริงในการสร้างความตระหนักรู้ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม และการอยู่ร่วมกันอย่างสมดุลระหว่างคน วัฒนธรรม และธรรมชาติ ตอกย้ำบทบาทของคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ในการขับเคลื่อนแนวคิด Green University อย่างเป็นรูปธรรมและยั่งยืน
ในการนี้ ได้รับเกียรติจาก รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เสกสรรค์ ตันยาภิรมย์ คณบดีคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ กล่าวต้อนรับและกล่าวเปิดโครงการ พร้อมด้วยคณาจารย์ผู้ใหญ่ร่วมมอบโอวาทและอวยพร ได้แก่

เพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคลในโอกาสวันขึ้นปีใหม่ไทย แก่คณาจารย์ บุคลากร และชาวศิลปกรรมศาสตร์
บรรยากาศการจัดกิจกรรมเป็นไปด้วยความเรียบร้อย อบอุ่น และเปี่ยมด้วยความหมาย สะท้อนถึงความรัก ความกตัญญู และความสามัคคีของครอบครัวศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ พร้อมทั้งแสดงให้เห็นถึงการสืบสานวัฒนธรรมไทยควบคู่กับการใส่ใจสิ่งแวดล้อม อันเป็นรากฐานสำคัญของการพัฒนาสู่มหาวิทยาลัยสีเขียวอย่างยั่งยืน
Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University Carries Forward the Thai Songkran Tradition with an Eco-Conscious Approach Toward a Sustainable Green University
On April 9, 2026, the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University organized the project “Thai Songkran Tradition with Environmental Awareness: Preserving Culture Toward a Sustainable Green University 2026.” The initiative aimed to promote and preserve the Songkran festival, an important element of Thailand’s cultural heritage, while fostering environmental consciousness and supporting the university’s policy of advancing toward a sustainable Green University.
The project emphasized cultural and social values. One of the key activities was the traditional Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony, in which participants respectfully pour water to pay homage to senior faculty members, express gratitude, and receive blessings for the Thai New Year. This activity helped strengthen morale and foster positive relationships among administrators, faculty members, staff, and students within the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts.
A distinctive highlight of the project was the integration of environmental conservation under the concept “Valuing Water, Caring for the Earth.” Water used in the ceremonial blessing was collected in containers with small plants inside and later reused to water trees within the faculty grounds. This approach reflects responsible resource management and maximizes the use of natural resources, symbolically conveying blessings, prosperity, and sustainability while nurturing a greener university environment.
Beyond cultural preservation, the project served as a practical learning platform that raised environmental awareness and promoted harmonious coexistence between people, culture, and nature. It reinforces the Faculty’s role in actively driving the Green University concept in a concrete and sustainable manner.
On this occasion, the Faculty was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Sakesan Tonyapirom, Dean of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, who delivered the opening remarks. Distinguished senior faculty members also shared their blessings and words of wisdom, including:

It also demonstrated a strong commitment to preserving Thai cultural traditions alongside environmental responsibility, forming a vital foundation for sustainable development toward a Green University.
