Chemical Engineering Practice School - Cheps

The Chemical Engineering Practice School (ChEPS) and the Biopharmaceutical Engineering Practice School (BioPhEPS) in the Department of Chemical Engineering at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) officially welcomed a new class of Master's students via an online Orientation on Monday August 9, 2021.

The new 27 ChEPS students represent Class-25 and the 7 BioPhEPS students represent Class-7 of these two unique practice-based academic programs. We were honored to have Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Saetia, KMUTT President, who gave the welcome speech to the new students.

On June 11, 2108, the Department of Chemical Engineering at KMUTT held an Orientation and welcomed 33 new ChEPS students (Class of 22) and 8 new BioPhEPS students (Class of 4), all of whom are Master's students. At a time when most graduate programs in Thailand are facing a shortage of qualified candidates, it's heartening to see so many new young faces with excellent academic credentials who are eager to learn.

The Chemical Engineering Practice School (ChEPS) at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) is now accepting applications for the academic year 2018 (Class-22) through Feb 28, 2018. Many forms of scholarships are available to qualified candidates.

A chance encounter with Mr. Ampon from ChEPS Class-3 at Ban Nam Kieng Din (ร้านอาหารบ้านน้ำเคียงดิน) on Phutthamonthon Sai 3. What a surprise! It’s so surreal that after 18 years, I still remember his name. I’m glad I didn’t change so much that after nearly two decades Ampon could no longer recognize me.
