The Faculty of Agro-Industry at Kasetsart University was established on 23 May 1980. Since then, the Faculty of Agro-Industry has been producing quality graduates each year as well as working with government and private institutes on training and research, to ensure that Thailand’s standards of professional and technical knowledge in the field of agro-industry continue to remain high and of intern
ational caliber. These are:
1. The Department of Agro-Industrial Technology
2. The Department of Biotechnology
3. The Department of Food Science and Technology
4. The Department of Packaging and Materails Technology
5. The Department of Product Development
6. The Department of Textile Science
Our goal is to gain worldwide respect and recognition as Asia’s leader in the field of agro-industry and become the best resource for academic studies and scientific research. It is our intention to produce global leaders, work with leading institutes from around the world and continue to grow and evolve in response to the changing needs of Thailand and the world.
คณะอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร มหาวิทยาลัยเกษตรศาสตร์ จัดตั้งขึ้นเป็นแห่งแรกในประเทศไทย ในวันที่ 23 พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2523 เปิดสอนหลักสูตรในระดับปริญญาตรี โท เอก ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร เป็นหน่วยงานสำคัญในการผลิตบุคลากรและผู้นำด้านอุตสาหกรรมเกษตรของประเทศ
