🇹🇭 🇮🇩 Strengthening Regional Collaboration in Risk & Disaster Management
On July 23, 2026, the Risk and Disaster Management Program (RDM), Chulalongkorn University, welcomed representatives from Universitas Syiah Kuala (USK), Indonesia, for a productive meeting at the Mandarin Hotel, Bangkok.
Assoc. Prof. Natt Leelawat, D.Eng. (RDM Program Director), Assistant Professor Police Sub‑Lieutenant (Deputy Director), Assistant Professor Pavisorn Chuenchum, Ph.D. (Secretary), and Jing Tang, D.Eng. (Lecturer) met with Prof. Syamsidik Thahir, Head of the Global Engagement Office at USK, and Prof. Muksin, Director of TDMRC USK.
🤝 The discussion focused on expanding academic and research collaboration, including
- Student exchange programs
- Double degree collaboration
- Joint supervision for graduate students
- Technical visits and knowledge-sharing activities
This meeting marks another meaningful step toward strengthening regional partnerships in disaster risk reduction and resilience.
