This program is collaboration between Siriraj hospital, Ramathiboodi hospital and college of management, Mahidol University that will bridge the gap between medical/technical experts with business and management knowledge. Students will be equipped with two sets of knowledge, attitude and skills necessary for success business in the near future, these two sets of knowledge are business concepts and holistic view of health & wellness industry. Throughout the program, HWM provides an understanding of the entire picture of the healthcare and wellness systems, context and trend including increased healthcare expenditures globally, medical & wellness tourism, aging society, healthcare policy, regulation, and payment system. CMMU opens opportunity to learn and share with innovative ideas and develop creative business model with elite network in healthcare industry. Courses are designed for students to understand from strategic level to successful implementation on operations level. Students will learn from real-world case studies, company visits, and exchanged experience from practitioners and business experts. At the end of the course, each students will have the choice of 1) developing your own business plan, or 2) to solve real world problem of your workplace with guidance of experts or 3) to conduct research on modern health or wellness topic. The current students and alumni of our program includes business owners of elderly care home, physiotherapy & rehabilitation center, hospitals, pharmacists in hospitals and medical professionals who work in medical device company, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies. The environment encourage learning and sharing from peers and professor in health & wellness industry. HWM is part-time international program which is designed for working students.
