Management of the overseas centers’ social media accounts
(1) The International Strategy Office (including the university’s overseas centers, the same shall apply hereinafter) shall be responsible for the management of the overseas centers’ social media accounts in accordance with the Guidelines for the Managem
ent of Kyoto University Overseas Centers’ Social Media Accounts. (2) The International Strategy Office shall be responsible for the creation, selection, and posting of articles on the accounts. (3) As a general rule, the accounts shall be used for disseminating information, and shall not be used for responding to comments by visitors to the accounts. Disclaimer
(1) Although it cannot be completely guaranteed, the university shall endeavor to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and validity of information posted on the accounts to the extent possible. (2) The posting of links on the accounts using “Like,” “Share,” “Follow,” and other functions is not intended to indicate the university’s endorsement of specific accounts. (3) The university shall not endorse or verify the accuracy, integrity, or validity of any user comments posted on the accounts. (4) The university shall not be responsible for any damages incurred by users or third parties as a result of their use or reliance on the information posted on the accounts. (5) The university shall not be responsible for any damage caused to users or third parties as a result of problems between users or between users and third parties. (6) The operations of the accounts may be suspended without prior notice due to system failure or maintenance.
