Dr. Wilai Jearrungsang, a recent Ph.D. graduate from ICO NIDA, has published the first paper from her dissertation in the International Journal of Productivity and Performance Management. The journal is ranked in SCImago "Quartile 1" and is among the "top 8%" of journals indexed in Scopus (CiteScore: 10.3).

Her research was conducted under the close supervision and guidance of her thesis advisor, Prof. Dr. Peerayuth Charoensukmongkol.

Expanding Horizons in Myanmar! 🌍
The International College of NIDA (ICO NIDA) was honored to participate in the 11th Thailand Education Fair (Myanmar) 2026 on April 4th.

Led by our Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Sid Suntrayuth, our delegation included Associate Professor Dr. Aweewan Panyagometh (Vice Dean for Research and Administration), Mrs. Hathaikarn McLaughlin (Director), and Dr. Leehsing Lu.

For those interested in pursuing further studies in China, we are pleased to announce the MoE-CMPG Joint Scholarship for International Students in China, jointly established by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government.

The scholarship is hosted by Chongqing Technology and Business University (CTBU) and is available for doctoral studies in Industrial Economics and Digital Economy. Programs are offered in Chinese or English, depending on the program and requirements, and the scholarship is suitable for students with strong academic backgrounds who are interested in pursuing higher education in China.

Eligibility Requirements
• Applicants must hold a Master’s degree and be under 40 years old at the time of application.
• For Chinese-taught programs, applicants must have HSK Level 5 (or HSK Level 4 with a score of 180 or above, depending on the program).
• For English-taught programs, applicants must have TOEFL 85 or IELTS 6.5, or equivalent English proficiency.
• Native English speakers are exempt from submitting English proficiency test scores.
• Applicants must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 out of 5.0, or 85 out of 100.
• All nationalities eligible except Chinese.

เมื่อวันที่ 2 กุมภาพันธ์ 2569 ทางเราได้พานักศึกษาออกไปเรียนรู้ผ่านประสบการณ์จริงที่ นาเฮียใช้ – ศูนย์เรียนรู้วิถีชีวิตและจิตวิญญาณชาวนาไทย อีกหนึ่งพื้นที่ต้นแบบที่ถ่ายทอดแนวคิดจากปรัชญา “ความพอเพียง” ของในหลวงรัชกาลที่ 9

A glimpse of the atmosphere from our experiential learning activity at Na Hia Chai with students from ICO NIDA 🌾✨
On February 2, 2026, we took our students beyond the classroom to engage in hands-on learning at Na Hia Chai – the Learning Center for the Thai Farmers’ Way of Life and Spirituality, a role model of community-based learning inspired by the philosophy of Sufficiency Economy introduced by His Majesty King Rama IX.

The activities were filled with fun, excitement, and meaningful challenges, allowing students to truly experience the values of self-sufficiency and Thai culture. These included
🥚 collecting quail eggs,
🍡 making traditional Bua Loy (Thai rice dumplings),
🍽️ enjoying a delicious lunch prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients from Na Hia Chai.

It was truly a memorable activity that perfectly combined learning, hands-on experience, and wonderful memories 🌱💛

ODDEA Project: SIU x NIDA

Under the framework of the ODDEA Project, we welcomed Prof. Dr. Miklós Bánhidi and PhD Candidate Ms. Adrienn Veisz for an intensive one-month secondment mobility in Bangkok.

During their stay, the team focused on key areas of digital transformation: 🏫 University Management: Exploring how higher education institutions can adapt to the digital age. ✈️ Tourism Management Digital Maturity: Analyzing the readiness of the tourism sector for digital integration and smart solutions.

This exchange not only strengthens academic ties between Hungary and Thailand but also fosters critical research in managing digital change. We look forward to seeing the results of their hard work!
