MoU signing with Symbiosis International University, India

On 24 April 2026, the Dean of the Faculty of Social Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Auschala Chalayonnavin, Assistant Dean for International Affairs, Dr. Pred Evans, Deputy Dean of SPD Program, Dr. Siyuan Liu, Assist. Prof. Dr. Mahesh Chougule and Dr. Duan Haosheng signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Symbiosis International University in India, represented by Prof. Asmita Dani, Director of Academics and Global Partnership Manager, Prof. Anita Patankar, Prof. Manasi Phatak and colleagues. Symbiosis International University is a top ranked university in India with 6 campuses, 254 programmes, and 45,000 students representing over 85 nationalities. Their main campus in Pune hosts the first fully funded Rotary Peace Centre in India. This Memorandum of Understanding will enable us to explore specific areas of collaboration mainly focussing on faculty exchange and research, and offers opportunities for student field trips and internships.

Congratulations to Hana Shirai on her acceptance to present her research at the SEASIA Biennial Conference 2026, organized by Nanyang Technological University.
The paper is the research project as a part of SPD 451 Research for Social Development 🎉
