The Politics and Global Studies (PGS) Program, Faculty of Political Science, Chulalongkorn University, extends its heartfelt congratulations to Napat Ngampatipatpong, who will soon graduate from PGS, on his remarkable achievement of being offered admission to the MSc in Education at University of Oxford for the academic year 2026.
Throughout his time at PGS, Napat has distinguished himself not only through his academic dedication, but also through his exceptional leadership as the President of the PGS Student Council. His tenure has been marked by a rare combination of vision, responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to public service, fostering a strong and supportive community within the program. Under his leadership, the Student Council has flourished, becoming more dynamic, inclusive, and responsive to the needs of fellow students. Beyond his formal role, he has also consistently extended his support to the PGS Office, offering his time and effort in ways that reflect both initiative and a genuine sense of responsibility toward the program.
What has always set Napat apart is his clarity of purpose. From the outset, he has aspired to pursue advanced studies in education. At the same time, he understood the importance of first developing a broad and nuanced understanding of the world. Choosing PGS was therefore a deliberate and thoughtful decision, as the program provided him with the intellectual space to explore global issues, refine his analytical skills, and cultivate his emerging interests. In doing so, PGS has played an important role in allowing him to excel in his would-be area of expertise, laying a strong foundation for his future in the field of education.
His journey reflects resilience in the face of challenges, as well as a steadfast determination to pursue his aspirations with integrity and purpose. He embodies the ideals of global citizenship, engaging thoughtfully with the world beyond borders and demonstrating a deep awareness of the responsibilities that come with it.
His acceptance to Oxford is therefore not only a personal milestone, but also a testament to his perseverance, intellectual maturity, and enduring commitment to his chosen path.
Napat’s journey reflects the very spirit of PGS, intellectually curious, socially engaged, and globally minded. We are immensely proud of his achievements and have every confidence that he will continue to excel and inspire others in the years to come.
Congratulations once again, Napat. The entire PGS community celebrates this wonderful accomplishment with you.
