Lek Chaiya Nerve Touch Massage:
Khun Lek Chaiya, or Mama Lek as she is known by many, learned Jàp Sên in Thai or Nerve Touch in English, from her mother and became a well-known practitioner of Thai massage and Thai herbal medicine before retiring and passing the business and the technique on to her youngest son, Master Jack (Pojanart Paenthai). Courses last from three to five days and cover about
50% of a traditional Thai massage course with the remainder dedicated to the Nerve Touch technique and herbal therapies. Courses:
Nerve Touch courses are 3 days, beginning any day of the week, with individual instruction in English, from 09.00 a.m. – 04.00 p.m. Classes are limited to no more than 5 persons per starting class in high season. Cost is 4,500 baht which includes the new 2012 textbook version, in English, French, German, Japanese and Spanish languages. Upon course completion students receive a Certified Letter from Lek Chaiya (recognized and certified by Thai and Thai Healing Alliance International and ITTA, U.S.A.). A course in Foot Reflexology is taught by Master Jack (Mama Lek’s son) and is a 2 day course for 5,000 baht. Also taught is an Advanced Course taught by Master Jack that is 3 days long for 7,000 baht including textbook (please reserve in advance). You may begin any day of the week that is available.
