Great news! The submission deadline for the 20th National and 1st International Conference of the Japanese Studies Association of Thailand (JSAT 2026) has been extended to 30 September 2026.
Under the theme “Japan and Global Sustainability: Partnerships for a Shared Future,” JSAT 2026 brings together researchers, academics, students, and practitioners to exchange ideas on Japan, Southeast Asia, and the challenges shaping our shared sustainable future.

🌏 International Panel Session: From Partnership to Practice
“From Partnership to Practice: ASEAN and Country Perspectives on Sustainable Development and Japan’s Engagement in Southeast Asia”
The International Panel brings together scholars from Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Indonesia to explore how regional and country-level partnerships can move from commitment to practice in addressing sustainable development challenges and strengthening Japan–Southeast Asia cooperation.
