It is the oldest and largest university in the Northeast of Thailand, with the greatest number of students and programs. The campus is situated in a most attractive park, covering and area of approximately 9000 hectares. International College, Khon Kaen University, recently established in accordance with the university's strategic plan, aims at being the leading international education center for

the country especially the northeastern region and for Asia region. ✨On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, KKUIC, led by Ms. Rapeepan Phittayadilok Associate Dean for Administration and Strategic Planning, and Mr. Poori Chitladaporn Assistant Dean for Planning and Organizational Excellence attended a congratulatory ceremony for the Faculty of Engineering on the occasion of receiving the Thailand Quality Class Plus: People (TQC Plus: People) Award 2025. The event was held at the 50th Anniversary Building (Wizva Ruam Jai), Faculty of Engineering.

During the event, attendees participated in a special lecture titled "Secrets of Success in Human Resource Management Towards Excellence," delivered by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering. This session provided an opportunity to exchange strategies for organizational development toward international standards. This prestigious national award is a significant achievement that brings great pride and recognition to Khon Kaen University.

Prof. Khwanjira Ponsree, Associate Dean for Growth and Organizational Image Enhancement Division, participated in the sacred procession of Phra Sri Sattanakanahut, also known as the authentic "Luang Phor Phra Lab," at Wat That, Royal Monastery, Khon Kaen Province.

The procession of the authentic Luang Phor Phra Lab at Wat That is a sacred tradition held to allow Buddhist devotees to pay homage to Khon Kaen's revered guardian Buddha image. The participation of the KKUIC executive team reflects the college's commitment to preserving local culture and strengthening the relationship between the academic institution and the community, fostering a society driven by a strong cultural foundation.

✨วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มข. นำโดย ผศ.สิริมนพร ทิพสิงห์ คณบดีวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหาร คณาจารย์ และบุคลากร ร่วมสืบสานวัฒนธรรมในงานประเพณีสงกรานต์ ประจำปี 2569 พร้อมทั้งร่วมสรงน้ำพระเพื่อความเป็นสิริมงคล เสริมสร้างและสืบทอดมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมอันดีงามของไทยให้อยู่คู่สถาบันสืบไป

ในช่วงเย็น คณะผู้บริหาร บุคลากร และนักศึกษาวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มข. ได้เข้าร่วมเดินขบวนแห่สงกรานต์ ภายใต้แนวคิด "บุญเดือนห้า แห่พุทธบูชา สมมาอาวุโส" เพื่อร่วมสืบสานประเพณีฮีตสิบสองและมรดกทางวัฒนธรรมอันล้ำค่าของชาวอีสาน
การเข้าร่วมในครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการรักษาขนบธรรมเนียมประเพณีบุญเดือนห้าที่มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่นยึดถือปฏิบัติมาอย่างยาวนาน แต่ยังเป็นการแสดงพลังแห่งความสามัคคีของบุคลากรในการร่วมทำนุบำรุงศิลปวัฒนธรรมให้คงอยู่คู่แผ่นดินอีสานสืบไป

✨KKUIC, led by Asst. Prof. Sirimonbhorn Thipsingh, Dean, Khon Kaen University International College, along with the management team, faculty members, and staff, joined in preserving Thai cultural heritage at the 2026 Songkran Festival. The event featured a Bathing Buddha Ceremony Images to bring auspiciousness and reinforce the beautiful cultural legacy within the institution.

In the evening, the management, staff, and students of KKUIC participated in the Songkran parade under the theme "Boun Deuan Ha: Procession of Faith, Honoring the Elders." This participation aimed to carry forward the Heet Sip Song tradition and the invaluable cultural heritage of the Isan people.

Joining this celebration not only preserves the long-standing "Boun Deuan Ha" (Fifth Month Merit) tradition of Khon Kaen University but also demonstrates the unity of the staff in nurturing and sustaining arts and culture for the Isan region for generations to come.

🌍✨ On 2–3 April 2026, the Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC) advanced its efforts to strengthen research capacity by organizing the “Youngblood Research Incubation & Mentoring Camp.” The program aimed to build knowledge, understanding, and practical pathways for developing high-quality research for publication in international academic journals.

The event featured presentations and guidance from a distinguished team of experts:

Two program highlights
📌2 April 2026 — Lecture session: Covered topic selection/research themes, developing concepts into research questions, study design, initial research planning, writing up results for publication, journal selection, funding sources in Thailand, and research ethics.
📌3 April 2026 — Practical session (hands-on): Participants began drafting project proposals/research ideas and received group-specific mentoring and feedback from the expert panel.

The project aims to create a stepwise support pathway—from idea to implementation—combined with close mentoring mechanisms to produce concrete outcomes and sustainably strengthen KKUIC’s research capacity.

📚เมื่อวันที่ 3 เมษายน 2569 วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น (KKUIC) นำโดย ผศ. ขวัญจิรา พลศรี รองคณบดีฝ่ายการขับเคลื่อนการเติบโตและภาพลักษณ์องค์กร และอาจารย์จิตติมา ไกรศรีวรรธนะ ผู้ช่วยคณบดีฝ่ายหลักสูตรสร้างสรรค์และกิจการพิเศษ ให้การต้อนรับคณะครูและนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนสาธิตมหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น ฝ่ายมัธยมศึกษา (มอดินแดง) ในกิจกรรม “KKUDS Pre-University Camp 2026” ณ อาคารเรียนรวมและพัฒนาทักษะพื้นฐาน เพื่อเยี่ยมชมและสัมผัสบรรยากาศการเรียนการสอนในรูปแบบนานาชาติ

กิจกรรมเริ่มต้นด้วยการกล่าวต้อนรับคณะผู้แทนและนักเรียนอย่างอบอุ่น พร้อมการแสดงพิเศษจากชมรม Dance Club เพื่อสร้างบรรยากาศความเป็นกันเอง ก่อนจะเข้าสู่การบรรยายสรุปภาพรวมของวิทยาลัยนานาชาติ (KKUIC) ซึ่งเน้นย้ำถึงความเป็นสถาบันการศึกษาที่มุ่งเน้นการสร้างพลเมืองโลก (Global Citizen)

🌟ในช่วงท้ายของกิจกรรม นักเรียนได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมอาคารเรียน ห้องปฏิบัติการที่ทันสมัย และพื้นที่การเรียนรู้ (Learning Space) ต่างๆ ภายในวิทยาลัย เพื่อสร้างความคุ้นเคยกับสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่เอื้อต่อการเรียนการสอนในระบบนานาชาติ กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้ไม่เพียงแต่เป็นการสร้างความสัมพันธ์อันดีระหว่างวิทยาลัยและโรงเรียนเครือข่าย แต่ยังเป็นการเตรียมความพร้อมและช่วยให้นักเรียนสามารถค้นพบเส้นทางอาชีพที่เหมาะสมกับตนเองในอนาคต

📚On April 3, 2026, Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC), led by Asst. Prof. Khwanjira Ponsree, Associate Dean for Growth and Organizational Image Enhancement Division, and Ms. Jittima Kraisriwattana, Assistant Dean for Creative Programs and Special Affairs, proudly welcomed the teachers and students for the 'KKUDS Pre-University Camp 2026' at the Fundamental Skills Development and Lecture Building. It was an inspiring day filled with academic exploration, as students immersed themselves in our world-class international learning environment.

The program kicked off with a warm welcome and an energetic performance by the Dance Club, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. This was followed by an overview of KKUIC’s mission, highlighting its commitment to cultivating "Global Citizens" who are ready to lead in an interconnected world.

In-Depth Academic Guidance and Admission Insights Special sessions were conducted to provide comprehensive guidance on university life and admissions, focusing on:
- Program Overview: Detailed information on international curricula designed to meet global job market demands.
- Admission Strategies: Expert tips on preparing for the TCAS to maximize students' chances of success.
- Lifelong Learning: An introduction to activities from the Center for International Creative Lifelong Learning (ICL), which promotes learning beyond traditional textbooks.
- Creative Media Workshop & Campus Exploration

🌟A major highlight of the day was the hands-on Creative Media Workshop organized by the Mix Media Club, where students explored photography techniques and creative content production. The event concluded with a campus tour of KKUIC’s modern classrooms, advanced laboratories, and diverse Learning Spaces, allowing students to experience the world-class facilities provided for international students.

This initiative not only strengthens the relationship between the college and its network schools but also serves as a vital stepping stone for students to explore their passions and discover the right career paths for their future.

🎬💙 นักศึกษา KKUIC เรียนรู้การทำงานในห้องข่าวจริงที่สถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์แห่งประเทศไทยขอนแก่น I KKUIC Students Explore Real Newsroom at NBT Khon Kaen

เมื่อวันที่ 13 มีนาคม 2569 นักศึกษาจากหลักสูตรนิเทศศาสตรบัณฑิต ชั้นปีที่ 2 และหลักสูตรศิลปศาสตรบัณฑิต สาขาการระหว่างประเทศ ชั้นปีที่ 4 วิทยาลัยนานาชาติ มข. นำโดย อาจารย์ จินตนา รัตนเขมากร ได้เข้าเยี่ยมชมสถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์แห่งประเทศไทย (NBT) จังหวัดขอนแก่น ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของรายวิชา Magazine and Newspaper Journalism

นักศึกษา KKUIC ได้รับโอกาสพิเศษในการเข้าชมสถานีวิทยุโทรทัศน์แห่งประเทศไทยขอนแก่น ซึ่งเป็นสถานีโทรทัศน์ที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในภาคตะวันออกเฉียงเหนือ เพื่อเรียนรู้การทำงานเบื้องหลังของการผลิตรายการโทรทัศน์ระดับมืออาชีพ กิจกรรมไฮไลท์คือ การเข้าชมห้องส่งรายการสดและห้องควบคุม ซึ่งช่วยสร้างแรงบันดาลใจและมอบประสบการณ์ตรงให้นักศึกษาได้เห็นบรรยากาศการทำงานจริงของคนทำงานในสายงานสื่อสารมวลชน

การเยี่ยมชมครั้งนี้ช่วยให้นักศึกษาเข้าใจเบื้องหลังกระบวนการแพร่ภาพออกอากาศของโทรทัศน์และสื่อต่างๆ อย่างละเอียด การดูเบื้องหลังการทำงานในห้องข่าวจริงและได้ใช้อุปกรณ์จริงในห้องส่ง ทำให้นักศึกษาเข้าใจถึงกระบวนการผลิตสื่อ รวมถึงความรับผิดชอบของนักข่าวและผู้ประกาศข่าวในการนำเสนอข้อมูลข่าวสารที่ถูกต้องแม่นยำสู่สาธารณชน

On March 13, 2026, sophomore students from the Bachelor of Communication Arts program and seniors from the Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs program at Khon Kaen University International College (KKUIC), led by Ajarn Jintana Rattanakhemakorn, visited the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT) Khon Kaen. This visit was conducted as part of the Magazine and Newspaper Journalism course.

KKUIC students were granted a special opportunity to visit NBT Khon Kaen, the largest broadcasting station in Northeast Thailand, to explore the behind-the-scenes operations of professional television production. The highlights of the visit included touring the live broadcast studios and control rooms, providing students with inspiration and firsthand experience of the real-world working environment in the media industry.

The visit provided students with a profound understanding and appreciation of the television industry's inner workings. By observing real newsroom operations and participating in studio activities, students gained deeper insights into media production and the ethical responsibilities of journalists and broadcasters in delivering accurate information to the public.
