McArthur-Welsh Hall McArthur-Welsh: two are better than one. Our friends call us "McWelsh." You may call us McWelsh.

McArthur-Welsh Hall, known as "McWelsh," is located on the south side of campus, behind the Technology Center/MeWaldt-Jensen building. McWelsh is slated to be home to a learning community designed for NSU education majors. McWelsh is a four-story, co-ed hall that can house approximately 190 residents. Residents have access to a main lobby on the first floor which has two TVs, microwave, piano area

, pool table, table tennis and vending machines. TVs are located in the other lounge/kitchen areas, which are centrally located on the other three floors.Rooms have individual desks with desk lights, shelves and dressers on each side of the room; spacious closets; and full-length mirrors.Each room has an independent heating controls for each room. Wireless internet access is located throughout the hall, and individual rooms are wired for high-speed internet.

Best Thing About NSU: Besides the Walmart thing? The staff is very personable and easy to communicate with.
Advice For Residents: Go out, do some stuff. Say hi to a stranger, go roam around, try to catch a squirrel. Just go out and have some fun!

Advice For Residents: It might seem terrifying at first, but get out of your room, talk to people you've never met before, join clubs, and just get out of your comfort zone. You won't regret it.
