Let’s meet another one of our alumni, Courtney Govea!

• I graduated in December of 2024.
• I learn from the HSUTX Art Department that it is important to surround yourself with creative minds, always!
• I work at Harper Ellis Hair Co as a Photographer/Videographer! I freelance photgraphy part time for weddings and portraits as well.
• Art has always has an impact on me! My dad is an amazing painter and I knew from a young age that I would go into something artistic. God planted this gift in me my whole life and I will spend the rest of it creating for Him!
• Right out of graduating I moved to Fort Smith, Arkansas where I also shoot photos at our church!

Get to know one of our alumni Jill D’Entremont! Here are some fun facts about her and a glimpse into her artwork! 🖼️

• I graduated in 2008
• Something I learned from being in the art department was to always be flexible and try new things!
• I currently work as the Graphic Design & Website Specialist at the City of Abilene!
• Art is my life... I would not survive without it! I love all forms of art, from visual to music. I love creating, drawing, singing, animating, illustrating, costuming, and even a little dancing.
• Another fun fact is I currently serve as the president of the board of the Celebration Singers! I’ve been a member for over 15 years.
