Wow! Polar Careers has been busy! Between Feb 5, 2023 and March 6, 2023 student learning and event participation as well as employer engagement were off the rails! The stats speak for themselves; however, more importantly students at Ohio Northern University are using these great opportunities to network and succeed in future endeavors!
✔ Suit Up with JC Penney (Feb 5) provided 54 students with professional clothing at deeply discounted prices
✔ An Employer Nursing Panel (Feb 7) highlighted recruiting practices from eight regional healthcare employers (18 recruiters). 45 student nurses learned about hiring trends
✔ 249 students and 112 employers featuring 232 recruiters attended the Winter Career and Graduate School Fair (Feb 16)
✔ Community Pharmacy Tabling/Lunch and Learn (Feb 22) with five nationwide pharmacy chains. 15 recruiters interacted with 43 pharmacy students
✔ Humanities and Social Sciences Internship and Job Fair (March 6) provided 26 recruiters (19 employers) with an opportunity to connect with 89 students.

That’s a wrap for the 2022 fall career fair season. 235 employers engaged with over 525 students between the two career fairs. Thanks to all the volunteers, alumni, faculty, staff, students and employers who participated in the event.
