Standards of Anesthesia

• Anaesthesia always entails a degree of risk.
• Despite the constraints of the austere environment, minimum standards of
conduct and monitoring must be followed.
• Patient presentation, history and examination may be varied and difficult.
• Anaesthetic techniques may need to be adapted to the prevailing circumstances.
• Regional anaesthesia should be encouraged but strict adherence to safety
principles is required.

In honour of the amazing field that enables current surgery and painless medical care, we celebrate World Anaesthesia Day today. An important milestone in the history of medicine was reached on this day in 1846 when the first successful public demonstration of anaesthesia was carried out.
“Ether Day,” Friday 16 October 1846 marks the first successful demonstration of the inhalation of ether vapour as a means of overcoming pain of surgery by the dentist William Thomas Green Morton (1819–1868) at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston USA.

Condolence Message
We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of young anesthetist Fisha Alemayehu, a dedicated professional who served his country and people with sincerity and honesty. His untimely departure so suddenly has left a void in our hearts.
We will gather to pay our final respects on September 8, 2017 E.C, with the funeral service being held in Kechene Medhanialem Church, starting from 6:00 p.m. LT.
The Ethiopian Anesthetists Association mourns alongside the family, colleagues, and friends of Anesthetist Fisha Alemayehu, expressing our profound sorrow. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his loved ones during this difficult time.

የተግባር ምዘና ፈተና ለምትወስዱ የአንስቴዥያ ጤና ባለሙያዎች በሙሉ

ጤና ሚኒስቴር ከከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት በሰኔ 19/2016 ዓ.ም በተሰጠው የመውጫ ፈተና አልፋችሁ ዲግሪ የያዛችሁ የተግባር ምዘና ፈተና ለመውሰድ በመጠባበቅ ላይ ለምትገኙ የአንስቴዥያ ተመዛኞች ፈተናው በመስከረም ወር 2017 ዓ.ም ለመሰጠት በዝግጅት ላይ ይገኛል፡፡

ስለሆነም የዚሁ ፈተና ምዝገባ ከጷግሜ 1/2016 ዓ.ም - መስከረም 5/2017 ዓ.ም የሚከናወን ስለሆነ ፈተናውን የምትወስዱ የመንግስትም ሆነ የግል ተቋማት ተመዛኞች በኦንላይን http://hple.moh.gov.et/hple ላይ በመግባት እንድትመዘገቡ እያሳሰብን ከላይ ከተጠቀሰው የጊዜ ገደብ ውጪ ምንም ዓይነት የምዝገባ ጥያቄ የማናስተናግድ መሆኑን አውቃችሁ በተጠቀሱት ቀናት እንድትመዘገቡና ሲስተሙ የሚሰጣችሁን የፈተና መለያ ቁጥር (Registration No) የያዘ ስሊፕ print አድርጋችሁ በመያዝ ስትመዘገቡ በመረጣችሁት የፈተና ጣቢያ በፈተናው ወቅት እንድትገኙ እናሳስባለን፡፡

ማሳሰቢያ፦

እያንዳንዱ የፈተና ጣቢያ ማስተናገድ በሚችለው ከፍተኛ የተመዛኝ ቁጥር ልክ ገደብ ስለተቀመጠለት ተመዛኞች ምዝገባውን ቀድማችሁ በማጠናቀቅ ተጠቃሚ መሆን የምትችሉ መሆኑን እያሳወቅን ከፍተኛው የተመዛኝ ቁጥር በደረሰበት የፈተና ጣቢያ ላይ ተጨማሪ ምዝገባ ማከናወን የማይቻል መሆኑን እናሳስባለን።

ማንኛውም ተመዛኝ ወደ ፈተና ጣቢያ ሲመጣ ሲስተሙ የሚሰጠውን የፈተና መለያ ቁጥር (Registration No) የያዘ ወረቀት /ስሊፕ/ print አድርጎ ካልያዘ ፈተናውን መውሰድ የማይችል መሆኑን በጥብቅ እናሳስባለን፡፡
