Meet Mason Dexter, the student speaker for the College of Business Spring 2026 Commencement Ceremony.

Mason is graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration double majoring in Financial Management and Financial Planning. Mason has been actively involved across campus as president of the Financial Planning Student Association, vice president of the Financial Management Association, a member of the Dean’s Team, a UA Student Ambassador, and a Williams Honors College Scholar. Following graduation, he plans to begin a career in private equity with StatePark Capital in Akron.

From classrooms to company visits, our College of Business study abroad experience in Berlin and Prague brought global business, culture, and connection to life—memories and lessons our students will carry well beyond the trip.

Throughout the week, students experienced behind-the-scenes tours of BMW Motorrad and Škoda Auto production plants, engaged with industry professionals at Mashup Communications and Albi Retail and Consumer Projects, and saw firsthand how global brands operate at scale. Conversations with international entrepreneurs also provided insight into supply chain and operations, innovation, and product development in today’s global market.

This experience brought business concepts to life—equipping our students with the perspective and skills to lead in a global economy. 🌍
