Delta Gamma women's fraternity fosters high ideals of friendship, promotes educational and cultural interests, creates a social responsibility and develops the finest qualities of character. Since its founding in Oxford, Mississippi, in 1873, Delta Gamma has become an international fraternity built upon the motto "Do Good". Members live this motto daily through philanthropic work, a commitment to

sisterhood and an appreciation for others. The bond of Delta Gamma sisterhood brings together young women of various backgrounds and gives members the chance to meet people they may never have met. Delta Gamma, a women's fraternity with 146 collegiate chapters and 230 alumnae groups, offers to women of all ages a rich heritage based on principles of personal integrity, personal responsibility and intellectual honesty. Its primary purpose is to foster high ideals of friendship, promote educational and cultural interests, create a true sense of social responsibility and develop the finest qualities of character.

“I wanted to be in a sorority like Delta Gamma because I love being part of a supportive community and making strong connections. When I met the sororities during New Roo Weekend, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. Delta Gamma felt like a place where I could find real friendships, get involved, and have a solid group of people around me. I love being in a positive and uplifting environment, and DG gives me that—along with opportunities to grow, give back, and just have fun with people who get me.
