What does the Grand Master's theme mean to you?
Building Brotherhood is more than just the Grand Master’s theme, but a pivotal concept in Free Masonry. It best exemplifies one of the central tenets of Masonry, Brotherly Love. Though this may be harder sometimes than others it helps us remember that, even in times of disagreement, the other person is a Brother, who has their own life and perspective. In a world that is becoming increasingly dehumanizing and polarized it should ground and unite all of us in that society of brothers and fellows whom no contention should exist. In viewing the image on the Grand Master’s pin, that of the statue in Gettysburg where even in times of war, two Brothers on opposite sides still cared about their bonds for one another.
