UA Sociology Club This page is for the Sociology Club at The University of Akron. This page will keep students updated on events and meetings.

The Sociology Club at The University of Akron is a blended student organization consisting of undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty members. Members come from a wide array of major areas including: sociology, criminology/law enforcement, psychology, nursing, communications, engineering, and more. The group holds biweekly meetings on UA campus which include guest speakers, open discussions

of social issues, and news about opportunities to advance students professionally and academically. The sociology club helps to integrate students from all levels with faculty to engage is social research, secure internships, and build a stronger academic community.
