"It’ll buff"

Favorite Part of the Nursing Program: One of my favorite parts of the nursing program has been the clinical experiences, where everything I’ve learned in the classroom finally came to life. I’ve also really valued the lifelong relationships built along the way, both with classmates and mentors. Nursing school is challenging, and having a supportive team to learn, grow, and get through tough days with made a huge difference.

Future Plans: I will be moving to Georgia in July and attending a Nurse Residency program, working in Medsurg

🎓 Senior Spotlight: Tianna Nievez

“They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel”

Favorite Part of the Nursing Program: Honestly, the people. The friendships, the chaos of clinical days, and the moments where everything finally clicked and you realize, “okay…I can actually do this.” Also getting the hands-on experience and seeing how much I’ve grow since day one.

Future Plans: Be a PICU/NICU nurse, caring for some of the smallest and most vulnerable patient populations. Being a part of their healing, and supporting families during the most difficult times means so much to me.
