Culture, community and tradition deserve to be celebrated. 💃

Our Alamosa Service Center was proud to contribute $5,000 to Semillas de la Tierra, a Mexican Folklórico dance program based at Adams State University that has been enriching the San Luis Valley for more than 50 years.

Through traditional dance, music and community performances, Semillas de la Tierra helps preserve and celebrate Mexican culture while creating opportunities for dancers of all ages to learn, connect and grow.

We’re honored to support an organization keeping these traditions moving for generations to come.

A killer comedy where the plot keeps changing…and so do the victims – the Adams State University Theatre Department production, “Deathtrap” opens at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, on the San Luis Valley Federal Bank Main Stage Theatre, located in the Theatre Building. It runs through a Sunday matinee, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m.

“Deathtrap is the longest running thriller in Broadway history, and it’s funny.”

The Adams State University Foundation will present Ted Morrison ’69 with its Willis Fassett Jr. Award-Individual in appreciation of his decades of support for the university. The award will be presented at the annual Donor & Student Recognition Dinner, October 15.

Tomorrow night, we are excited to present a concert celebrating Hispanic Heritage month. Get there early for some delicious eats from Tacos Martinez, and stay for the music provided by Adams State students and faculty and the Mariachi Corazon del Valle! We hope to see you there - food at 5:30, music at 7:00! 🎶 💃🏻
