The McCormick Center for the Study of the American Revolution is both an academic program and an outreach initiative, created by humanities faculty to serve students, scholars, and the general public. The administrative team includes director; Dr. Jennifer Dorsey, and an enthusiastic group of students. The McCormick Center offers the Certificate in Revolutionary Era Studies. es students in the study of history through community engagement. Students complete 18 hours of coursework focused on the American Revolution as well as courses in marketing, management and digital humanities to prepare for a required internship with a local historic site. The McCormick Center is directed by Dr. Jennifer Dorsey, Associate Professor of History.
