MBA students in Professor Savita Hanspal's Marketing Management class engaged in a creative service-learning project during the Fall 2104 semester.
A local community non-profit organization, St. Anne Institute, expressed a need for a marketing plan to publicize their services for residents of the Capital Region.
Professor Hanspal's students formed five small groups, with each group developing a comprehensive marketing plan for St. Anne Institute.
During the semester, St. Anne staff visited the MBA class and the MBA students toured St. Anne Institute.
At the end of the semester, the MBA students presented their final marketing plans to the leadership of St. Anne Institute.
This creative partnership between St. Anne Institute and the Marketing Management class was sponsored by the St. Rose Community Advisory Board. St. Rose is an engaged, urban campus.
