Phi Alpha Theta at UAlbany Phi Alpha Theta is an honor society for undergraduate and graduate students who have distinguished themselves for academic excellence in history.

The University at Albany's chapter, Chi Delta, was founded in 1976 and has earned national recognition as a "best chapter" for providing an active forum for the exchange of ideas and learning about the past. It is one of 820 Phi Alpha Theta chapters worldwide. http://phialphatheta.org/

Starting this month, PAT will be offering tutoring for all 100 and 200 level history students (regardless of major). Come get help with Chicago Manual of Style, essay topics, research, and midterm and finals prep! Tutors will be located in the student lounge of Social Sciences 60! Extra flyers can be picked up in the History Department offices in Social Sciences. February tutoring times are listed on the calendar below!

This friday, November 22nd marks the 50th anniversary of the JFK Assassination. To acknowledge this event, PAT will be continuing our tradition of movie nights by showing "JFK: The American Experience" at 5:30pm in Fine Arts Room 126. This event is open to all history majors and pizza and refreshments will be provided!
