Commencement Spotlight: April Marks, a Ruleville, Mississippi native, will graduate from on Dec. 13 with a bachelor's degree in nursing from the Darton College of Health Professions. She plans to pursue her master of science in nursing at Albany State University.

Mother-daughter duo, Lashundria Ray and Jada Pace, will graduate together from on Dec. 13 with their associate of science degree in nursing. After setbacks, new beginnings, and a leap of faith, they’re crossing the stage side by side; a true story of resilience and purpose.

A big thank you to the Nursing Division at Albany State University led by Belinda Gilbert and Dr. Daphne Mathis, for coordinating a collection drive to support families in our community. 💕

Together, they gathered:
🔹 546 newborn and preemie diapers
🔹 70 cloth items including plush and receiving blankets
🔹 230 clothing items like onesies, sleepers, and socks

These essentials will go directly to babies and families who need them most. We’re grateful for your partnership in care and action!
