Another congratulations are in order for Dr. Rukhsana Ahmed, who was awarded the AI & Society Consortium Public Engagement Fellowship! This is a shared initiative of the AI & Society Research Center and the AI & Society College.

As an AI & Society Public Engagement Fellow (2026–2027), she will examine how AI translation tools shape mental health literacy in refugee and immigrant communities and co create culturally responsive multilingual resources through direct community engagement.
