A few highlights from last night's BLET graduation ceremony.

After more than 880 hours of training, hard work, and dedication, these cadets officially completed their journey and are now beginning their careers with law enforcement agencies across our region.

Graduation is more than receiving a certificate, it's the culmination of countless hours in the classroom, on the range, in scenario-based training, physical fitness, and preparing to serve their communities with professionalism and integrity.

Congratulations to each member of this class. We are proud of your accomplishments and look forward to watching your careers develop. A special thank you to our instructors, family members, friends, and agency representatives who supported these cadets every step of the way.

Graduation night for BLET!
After more than 880 hours of training, dedication, sacrifice, and perseverance, these cadets have reached the finish line. Tonight marks a significant milestone as they officially graduate from Basic Law Enforcement Training.
This is truly a momentous occasion and a testament to their hard work, determination, and commitment to serving their communities.

As we prepare for tomorrow's BLET graduation, we are proud to share some exciting news.
This morning, Cadet Xavier Berry was officially sworn in as the newest Deputy Sheriff with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.
This is a significant milestone in Xavier's law enforcement journey and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment he has demonstrated throughout the academy.
Congratulations, Deputy Berry! We are proud of your accomplishment and look forward to seeing the positive impact you will make while serving the citizens of Montgomery County.

We are incredibly proud of our BLET cadets!
Today, they achieved another 100% pass rate on the BLET Comprehensive Examination, a testament to their hard work, dedication, and commitment to excellence throughout this demanding program.
These cadets have invested countless hours in the classroom, on the range, in practical exercises, and preparing for every challenge placed before them. Their success reflects not only their determination but also the support and guidance of our outstanding instructors and staff.
The next stop is graduation on Tuesday, where we will celebrate all they have accomplished and recognize their readiness to begin serving their communities as law enforcement officers.

Our BLET cadets took a well-deserved break from studying today to wash and clean the training vehicles. 🚔🧽
With the North Carolina State Comprehensive Exam coming up this Thursday, the class has been working hard and putting in countless hours preparing for this important milestone. Taking a few moments to step away from the books and give our training fleet some attention was a great way to recharge before the final push.
Please join us in wishing our cadets the best of luck as they prepare to take the state exam. Their dedication, perseverance, and hard work have brought them to this point, and we are proud of all they have accomplished.

BLET Cadets Participate in Rapid Deployment Training
This week, BLET cadets participated in Rapid Deployment Training, one of the most critical components of their law enforcement education. This training prepares future officers to respond effectively to active shooter incidents and other high-risk critical events where immediate action is necessary to protect lives.
Cadets were challenged to apply their skills in communication, teamwork, decision-making, and tactical movement while operating under stressful and realistic conditions. These scenarios reinforce the importance of rapid response, sound judgment, and coordinated action when seconds matter most.
Training such as this helps ensure our graduates are prepared to meet the challenges of modern law enforcement and serve their communities with professionalism, courage, and confidence.

As the BLET cadets near the completion of their training, they are gaining valuable exposure to the criminal justice system by participating in courtroom testimony exercises and mock trials. These practical experiences allow cadets to apply the knowledge and skills they have developed throughout the academy while building confidence in presenting testimony in a professional courtroom setting.
Courtroom testimony is a critical responsibility for law enforcement officers, and these exercises help prepare our future officers to effectively communicate facts, articulate observations, and uphold the integrity of the judicial process.
A special thank you to the Stanly County Courthouse and the Stanly County Magistrate's Office for their outstanding support and assistance in providing this valuable learning opportunity. Their partnership helps ensure our cadets receive realistic, hands-on training that prepares them for success both on the street and in the courtroom.
