The Wind Ensemble Concert took place on 4/17/2026 at the Goodrich Chapel. It was a wonderful mix of Albion students, visiting high school students, guest conductors and a world premiere music performance.

There was a flute ensemble, the De La Salle Concert Band, percussion ensemble and the full band including High School Honor Band guests. Additional support was provided by Jenny Riberio, Rich Ball and Benjamin Harnkness.

The world premiere event was a performance of a piece composed and conducted by Albion's Abigail Hoskey. She had been inspired by her visit to the World War Two prisoner of war camp at Auschwitz-Birkenau. That horrible tragedy but also a feeling of hope came through in her composition.
