Unidos Project
The Unidos Project was implemented to increase Latino student success from middle school to college completion working with Albuquerque Public Schools, Central N
ew Mexico Community College, community organizations, and policy makers. The mission of Lumina Foundation is to expand access and success in education beyond high school, particularly among adults, first-generation college going students, low-income students and students of color. This mission is directed toward a single, overarching big goal โ to increase the percentage of Americans with high-quality degrees and credentials to 60 percent by the year 2025. MATCH New Mexico
MATCH, an acronym for Mentoring And Tutoring Create Hope, plans to be a primary resource in New Mexico and the nation for both elementary students needing to reach grade level and college students wanting to reinvest in society. We work with colleges, universities and local schools to facilitate relationship building, encouraging growth and development in all participants. We believe that successful students lead to healthy communities, and are excited to be bringing our model into communities across New Mexico. FAFSA Collaborative
The FAFSA Completion Project is a statewide collaboration to increase awareness, submission and completion of the FAFSA and college applications. Support is available to students, family, and communities throughout the process. Lobo Reading Experience
The Lobo Reading Experience was created as a common academic reading program at the University of New Mexico (UNM). The program has been created for all students to offer a common reading experience that fosters a sense of community while promoting reading as an entire campus and a city wide effort that promotes literacy. Peer & Volunteer Success Coaching
Success Coaching is a dynamic program that fosters a highly personalized relationship between the student and coach. The Success Coaching relationship provides a safe space for the student to clarify academic, personal and professional goals so they are able to make the most out of their college experience. Success Coaches support students to strategize, problem solve and develop their own path to success while providing them with an objective third-party perspective and first-hand knowledge of campus resources. Student Success Center @ Casas del Rio
The Student Success Center has been developed as central places to help students navigate through any personal or academic challenges they might encounter. In addition to this, students will find study space, printing services, a computer pod and additional coaching services. The Success Center is located in the residential area of campus, in the Jemez building of the Casas del Rio residence hall.
