On Friday, April 24, we learned traditional dances from New Mexico, featuring the incredible participation of instructor Lucy Salazar and musicians Heather Trost, Felipe Ruibal, Larry Ulibarrí, and Richard Sena. We danced the Valse de la escoba, Valse de los paños, La cuna, El chotís, La camila, and La varsoviana, among others. It was, without a doubt, an event filled with energy and connection!
