UNM Honors College, an interdisciplinary college within the University of New Mexico that offers unique academic opportunities to high-achieving, highly motivated undergraduate students from all other of UNM colleges and schools through an active learning approach.
For this purpose, the Honors College is seeking a Coord, Education Support to plan and coordinate curricular, marketing, and operational activities.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
-Maintain a student record database and prepare reports that provide an accurate record of Honors College enrollment, student participation rates, and anticipated course demand.
-Coordinate the college's course offerings, including scheduling, and maintaining data to provide information regarding student enrollment.
-Assist in the coordination of special events, including fall/spring new student orientation, welcome back bbq, preview night, fall/spring commencement ceremonies, annual awards ceremonies, guest lecturers, and other events as needed.
-Prepare, maintain, and update marketing materials and communication tools.
-Manage the college's website and social media.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in higher education with undergraduate students. They will also have excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple work priorities at the same time, and the flexibility to work under stress with changing deadlines. The candidate should also have experience designing promotional materials for undergraduate students and coordinating events.
