Well, today was our final fish fry of the season. Alexandria Masonic Lodge would like to thank everyone who supported this series. Your support funds our Elementary School Bicycle program, our Send a Kid to Camp program and our Vocational School Scholarship program. Without you, we couldn’t be out there with these programs. Again, THANK YOU!!

Brothers,
I received word this morning that Brother Engel passed away yesterday. The family is planning on having a memorial service for him in Kentucky at a future date.

Brother Engel's Masonic History is as follows:

Born in Huntigdon, PA on Saturday 15 day of December 1949
Initiated as an Entered Apprentice on Saturday 5 day of June 2010.at Alexandria Lodge #152.
Passed to the degree of a Fellowcraft on Saturday 31 day of July 2010
Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on Saturday 11 day of September 2010

Our Brother was a very active member of our lodge prior to him moving to Arizona to be near his sister.

Brother Engel served our fraternity for 12 years, 1 month and 30 days. Aged 72 years, 7 months and 20 days.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lt. Col. Joseph Alexander who retired from the Alexandria Police Department in 2021 after over 30 years of service. He will always be remembered for his dedication and commitment to our community and as a mentor and leader to so many officers throughout his career. Services and arrangements can be found in the link to his obituary in our comments below. Thank you to all of the law enforcement agencies who have reached out to offer their condolences and assistance during this time. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Our Fish Fry Series will begin on Friday March 4th from 4-7PM and run all 7 Fridays of Lent. Our dine in is now back!! Thank you all for your support and hope to see you there!
UPDATE: Desserts will be back this year via a community program. Chicks and Chucks will be here offering desserts by donations for their organization. Please come out and support them also.

I received word of the passing of Brother Bersch last Friday but was not made known of the arrangements until last evening. We will have a Masonic Funeral Service for Brother Bersch on Monday, Feb. 4 th., 1:00 PM at Asbury United Methodist Church, 2916 Alexandria Pike, Highland Heights, KY. Brother Bruce Harry will confer the Masonic Rite and we can meet to open Lodge at 12:45 PM on the
4th.
Brother Bersch 's Masonic History is as follows:

Born in Cold Spring, KY on Sunday, 22 day of June 1930 Elected to receive the Degrees of Masonry at Alexandria Lodge #152 on Thursday, 5th day of November 1953 Initiated as an Entered Apprentice on Thursday 4th day of February 1954 Passed to the Degree of a Fellowcraft on Thursday 4th day of March 1954 Raised to the Sublime Degree of a Master Mason on Saturday 10th day of April 1954 Brother Bersch was a faithful member of our Fraternity for 64 years, 11 months and 3 days Brother Bersch was called home on Friday 25th day of January, 2019 Aged 88 years, 7 months and 3 days
