GVSU Recreation & Wellness Recreation & Wellness is a department in the Division of Student Affairs at GVSU. Recreation & Wellness is part of the Division of Student Affairs at GVSU.

We enhance and engage the GVSU community by providing inclusive and diverse recreational opportunities that inspire participation, promote health and well-being, and encourage student development and success. We offer something for everyone; including Club Sports, Fitness Services (personal training, small group training), Intramural Sports, Outdoor Adventures (bike shop, climbing center, trips, w

orkshops), Wellness Activities (massage therapy, nutrition services), and Special Events (5Ks, other annual events). The department of Athletic and Recreation Facilities oversees the athletic and recreation facilities. They are responsible for student staffing of the Aquatic Center, Climbing Center, Kelly Family Sports Center, and Recreation Center, in addition to scheduling, operating hours, and equipment within all Athletic and Recreation Facilities. The Rec Center is FREE to all students registered for one or more credits, all faculty, and all staff of GVSU, as well as qualified alumni and their immediate families. Student, faculty, and staff may use the facilities with an eligible GVSU ID. Alumni and community members must purchase a membership to receive an eligible ID. Make your time at Grand Valley healthy, fun, and memorable by taking advantage of a wide variety of recreational, wellness, competitive, and educational resources that support your physical and mental well-being.

What a great start to our summer so far 😀

Little Louie's Day Camp is still taking registration for weeks in July and August!

We will participate in water days, climbing, various sports and crafts, and fun activities with our campus partners!

Your camper will have access to the same incredible facilities our Lakers use every day — all summer long, right here on campus.
