Earning your degree in geography shows prospective employers that you can solve complex problems, design solutions, utilize GIS and remote sensing technology, evaluate human impact on the environment, and see the "big picture." in Geography with flexible concentrations in
1) City and Regional Planning,
2) Environmental Geography
3) Geospatial techniques, and
4) Regional Studies. Students majori
ng in geography are required to complete a minimum of 36 hours
We also offer three minors:
1) City and Regional Planning (24 credits),
2) Geographic Techniques (25 credits), and
3) Teaching certification in Geography (21 credits). These minors are perfect additional programs for students majoring in biology, geology, natural resources management, engineering, geography, business, public administration, tourism, international relations, history, and many other disciplines. We also offer two intensive professional certifications that are very relevant for current and returning students majoring in various disciplines:
1) Sustainable City and Regional Planning Certificate (12 credits) and
