Each year hundreds of students begin their university experience at Salkehatchie, one of the University of South Carolina’s four Regional Campuses. Salkehatchie is centrally located in the Lowcountry of South Carolina with campuses in Walterboro and Allendale. We offer the first two years of almost every major offered by the University of South Carolina. Additionally, through partnerships with US

C Columbia and USC Aiken, students can also complete coursework toward a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing, and a Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education.

☀️ LOOKING FOR A FREE, HANDS-ON SUMMER ADVENTURE? ☀️

Registration is officially OPEN for the USC Salkehatchie STEM Clean Energy Summer Camp! If you have a curious young scientist ages 10–14, this is the perfect opportunity to dive into the world of renewable energy and modern technology.

Best of all? It is completely FREE to attend!

Uncover the ancient history of the Lowcountry! Join us this Thursday as we welcome Dr. Larry Strong for a fascinating look at the earliest human history in our region.

Dr. Strong will be discussing rare and historic Paleo-Indian projectile points, including Clovis, Redstone, and Simpson points.
