Please be aware of an important update to parking enforcement times on the City Grand Rapids Campus:

Permits are now required 24/7 in all permit-required areas
Payment is required 24/7 in all Pay-to-Park areas

Attention GVSU Community:

The Eberhard Center Parking Lot will be under construction starting Monday October 27, 2025. The parking lot will only be accessible for ADA spaces, and the marked loading and unloading area.

EV Chargers, Pay-2-Park, Visitor and Faculty/Staff spaces will not be available during this time.

Hello Laker Community!

Starting June 15, the Eberhard Center Parking Lot will be closed for construction through mid-August.

🅿️ Additional parking is available in the Mt. Vernon Lot and DeVos Lot.

⚡️ Electric vehicle charging stations will NOT be available during this time.

Happy Spring Break, Lakers!

Staying on campus or visiting a friend? Student-permitted spaces will be complimentary during Spring Break week. 🚗✨

However, permits are still required in Faculty/Staff and specially signed spaces. These include, but are not limited to: Food Service, Housing Staff, Information Technology, Reserved, Service Vehicle, Admissions Visitor, Visitor, Prospective Student, and ADA spaces. Payment is also required in Pay-2-Park areas.

To obtain a permit to temporarily drive up on the sidewalk, please call Parking Services at 616-331-7275 to obtain that pass and more information.

Got plans this week? Remember that student-permitted lots are complimentary after 6:30 PM—perfect for any evening plans!

For example, you can park in Mt. Vernon Lot (Downtown Campus) or Lot C (Allendale Campus), or take the bus for a stress-free ride.

Reminder: Overnight parking and speciality signed space rules still apply!
