Pansexuality is a sexual orientation not limited by gender. Instead, it is the capacity to be attracted to all genders, including non-binary and gender-expansive people. Panromantic is the same, but for romantic attraction specifically.

Today is Harvey Milk Day! Harvey was the first openly gay person elected to California public office in 1977, where he served as a San Francisco city supervisor. He was assassinated in 1978.

On Harvey Milk Day, we both remember and educate about Harvey's life and work as an activist for LGBTQIA+ people in California and beyond. The fight to end discrimination against our community continues.

May 19 is Agender Pride Day! This day was first recognized in 2017, soon after the state of Oregon legally offered the "X" option for gender when applying for driver's licenses or state ID cards.

On this day we celebrate our agender friends, family, and loved ones.

Happy International Family Equity Day from the Rainbow Resource Center! 🌈

IFED is an LGBTQ awareness day that celebrates the diversity of q***r families, raises awareness about q***r issues, and fights homophobia and transphobia. The day is run by a Swiss non-profit organization of the same name and involves many community events.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN or our 2026-2027 Trans Academic Scholarships! This year, we'll be awarding $20,000 to local Trans & Nonbinary students! 🏳️‍⚧️

To be eligible, you must 1) be Trans / Nonbinary / Non-cis, and 2) be attending a college, school, or vocational training in Kent County, MI (including satellite campuses like GVSU and Ferris, as well as vocational programs in cosmetology, yoga, welding, coding, massage therapy, etc).

Please help us spread the word to your Trans friends and family! Deadline is May 1, 2026. ✨
